Megan Scott, L.Ac.
Licensed Acupuncturist
Megan received her Masters of Oriental Medicine degree at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington Minnestoa. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in Ohio and is nationally certified as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine (Diplo. OM) by the National Certification Commision for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Megan has broad clinical experience and specializes in acute and chronic pain management and women's health - including infertility and pregnancy care. She enjoys providing care in the group acupuncture setting and welcomed the opportunity to get back into this model at Acupuncture First. She is also an acupuncturist at Cleveland Clinic where her unique combination of outpatient and inpatient experience bring the benefits of acupuncture to both health care center and hospital-based patients. She developed and administered the pilot program to introduce inpatient acupuncture for the first time at the Heart, Vascular and Thoracic Institute - the number one ranked heart program in the United States.
Megan brings compassion, exceptional care, patient centeredness and a pioneering spirit to the clinics and healthcare systems she has been proud to call home over her many years of practice. She also enjoys educating her patients and the community about acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She teaches Tai Chi and provides talks on incorporating TCM into daily life for optimal health and well-being.
