Specializing in cancer care, chronic pain, and supporting veterans with PTSD, she gained invaluable experience that shaped her commitment to holistic healthcare. Karen served as a private practitioner at the Pacific Center of Health in San Diego, collaborating with some of the nation's most respected acupuncturists. Her general practice focuses on pain management, internal medicine, neurological disorders, cancer care, psycho-emotional issues, and orthopedics.

Karen's journey into acupuncture was inspired by her training in Chinese martial arts under the guidance of Master Fukui Yang in New York City. A seasoned competitor in Tai Chi and Xin Yi Five Element forms, she personally experienced the transformative impact of Chinese health practices, including acupuncture treatments.

In 2013, Karen returned to her hometown of Cleveland with a mission to share her knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She emphasizes preventive care and promotes the idea that acupuncture and holistic approaches can not only alleviate ailments but also enhance overall health and well-being. Encouraging active patient participation, Karen advocates for exercise and wellness planning as proactive measures to relieve pain, address health concerns, and renew both body and quality of life.
